You want to recruit a new, permanent staff member, BUT might make a mistake? Understandable. The prospective new staff member will be thinking the same! There’s an old saying “Marry in haste, repent at leisure”. Why rush?  NPS have a better way for everyone. A work trial!

Recruitment done properly at the first attempt?

1. Employ a candidate for a fixed period and you both check you meet each other’s criteria.

2. Identify areas which may need working on.

3. The trial works well, you both opt to make things permanent .

4.Things not working out, you  part company on good terms. No costly commitment you can’t escape from.

See how you each match up

Prospective candidates  work a series of trial shifts/days so you can each assess the other and identify areas that will require discussion and agreement. Plan a way forward that achieves agreed objectives. You pay the locum the agreed locum fee and we charge a booking fee for each day worked* (*deductible from our recruitment fee). Any locum shifts booked will be done via our usual method and T&Cs.

Seal the deal

You recruit a candidate via our recruitment service, we invoice for payment within 28 days of commencement of the employment date. Fees for locum dates are payable in line with our normal T&Cs.
